Our History.
Ekklesia was started by group of Jesus-lovers who had been pursuing God together for nearly 5 years prior. They hosted many worship nights, prayers, outreaches and fellowship meals together from 2012-2016. Those years were laying the foundation to what God would call them to continue building together. Their love for God and one another over those years became solid foundation for them to continue to build on.
In the latter part of 2016 God invited this small group of friends to go even deeper together. He began releasing the biblical revelation about building Church and about living together as a covenant family. So in the beginning of 2017 around 25 young adults committed to live life in a in a very intentional way together. They committed to gather often in the Presence of Jesus and behold Him together as a family. This began the beautiful journey of Becoming His House Together.
In Him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in Him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit
Ephesians 2:21-22
As they embarked on this journey to be built together as a spiritual House, (1 Peter 2:5) God would Build. He would speak their foundational values to them as they would gather in His Presence. He would give them core Scriptures and chapters that would mark them and establish in them a standard to live by.
Synonymous to Ekklesia was SOLD, which is our discipleship school. These schools would begin to host many other hungry disciples in our community houses. They would be brought in to experience the Kingdom family within Ekklesia, and be discipled by the way of life Jesus has prescribed to us.
Today we continue to build together, by His Presence and by His Voice. Every time we gather we expect Christ to build His church, through the Spirit and through the Body. We remain gathering in homes in the downtown region of Orlando FL. We enjoy pursuing all that Jesus Himself has prepared for us as a family. We gather often for prayer, worship, outreach, fellowship, and family times. We consider what we live together one of the highest privileges of life! All Glory to God!
Our leadership.
Daniel and Irina have been doing ministry together since 2016. Their passion for evangelism, discipleship and building Gods family brought them to together. At first they were just great ministry friends because of their like-mindedness, but the Father had arranged them for so much more together. In 2022 they got married and are now enjoying raising a family together while continuing to do what they’ve been called to do in the Kingdom.
They are the primary leaders of the Ekklesia community and consider it the utmost joy of their lives to build church as family. They also have a handful of others who hold leadership positions organically within the community. They are always eager to empower others to respond to the call of leadership and be raised up within the family.
Our Core Values
Our Values were birthed from spending time in His Presence as a family. The first year of our gatherings were simply coming to Him and letting Him define us by His Presence and Voice. At the conclusion of the first year we drew from the core themes Jesus had spoken to us and made them pillars of truths we look to and live by.
Our Mission & Vision
Our pursuit is to LIVE united as Gods Family and to fulfill every mission that Jesus Himself gives to our House.
We believe that God is restoring the expression of authentic family to the Church. Through these families, He’s raising up a generation that looks like His Son, Jesus.
Our Dream is to partner with God in becoming the Living Expression of Heaven on Earth as one of those families. Our dream continues as we believe for God to raise up sons and daughters who will birth their own families (church communities). We hope to give Jesus His inheritance by becoming multi-generational family that takes more hearts and lands for His Name, Glory & Fame.
